Funeral services for Billy Joe DeSoto will be held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on Friday February 06, 2015 at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Billy Joe, 59 years of age, passed away February 1, 2015. He was born October 28, 1955 in Natchitoches, LA. He was a hard working and fun loving person who loved the outdoors and spending time deer hunting. He was a loving husband, father, and brother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Atkins of Winnfield, LA; his granddaughter, Chasten Atkins of Winnfield, LA; three sisters, Judith "Judy" Ann Wilkerson of Pineville, LA, Anita Gourdon and her husband Johnny of Natchitoches, LA, and Brenda Gourdon and her husband Roger of Walker, LA; his close lifetime friend, Frank Bowman of Shreveport, LA; and his companion, Lanora Ann Flores of Montgomery, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Alexander DeSoto; and his parents, A.J. DeSoto and Betty Connor DeSoto.
