Early Lee Kirkland

June 19, 1953 — February 22, 2015

Early Lee Kirkland, 61, joined his Lord & Savior on February 22, 2015 at his home in Keithville, La. Services will be held on February 27th, 2015 at 1pm at Blanchard St. Denise Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La with Rev. Roger Matkins, officiating the service. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11am-1pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Provencal Cemetery. Early was born July 19, 1953 in Natchitoches, La. He loved fishing, celebrating special occasions and time with his family, especially Samantha, Hailey, Jackson and Brooklyn (his nieces and nephew) He traveled to many places on this earth before making his last move to heaven. He was a member of House of Praise & Worship in Keithville. He is preceded in death by both parents, Lessie and Leon Kirkland, and three brothers, James, George and Rodney Kirkland. He is survived by six sisters, Ruby Phillips and husband, Gayle, Bertie Riggs, Virley Martin, Katherine Garsee and husband, Allen, Mary Willhite and husband, Jackie, and Christy Greene. Two brothers Leon Kirkland and wife, Marsha, Billy Kirkland and wife, Deanna. Numerous nieces and nephews, friends, his church family and special friend, Lorie Sonnier. The family would like to thank Dr Charles Byrd, The Willis Knighton Cancer Center, and the staff of St Joseph Hospice for their care and services they provided for our loved one. Also, for all the prayers and visits from our loving family and friends. He finally made it home….as Early would always say….”Oh Yeah “ Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Billie Kirkland Jr., E.L. Greene, Ben Greene, Robert Martin, and James Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Harris and Tre Saunders
