R. E. Bentley

Mr. R. E. Bentley, 84 years of age, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Natchitoches, LA. He was born May 13, 1930 in Nevada, TX to Howard Bentley and Ethel Thurman Bentley. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic for Kraft Foods, primarily in Garland, TX but ultimately retired after 45 years of service in Lehigh, PA. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol (Killen) Bentley of Natchitoches, a sister, Charlene Sartain of Rockwall, TX; and sisters in law, Joyce Baird and her husband Paul of Natchez and Joan Stringer and her husband Ray of Springfield, PA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A service to honor his life will be held at the Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA at a future date.
