Vickie Louise Cates Wyatt, age 46, of Robeline, LA, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Universal Hospice Service in Fort Worth, Texas. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM Monday evening at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church Monday, December 8, 2008 until service time Tuesday. The funeral service will be at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2008, with Rev. Michael Wiltcher, Rev. Bruce Maxwell, and Rev. David Hill officiating. Interment will be at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA.
Vickie was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She put her needs and desires behind her and put her families' needs first. She was unselfish, loving, and was a peacekeeper in her home. She was very forgiving, had a great since of humor, and always found the good in every situation. She had a fond love for fishing, singing, listening to music, and dancing. She was a great woman who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Cates.
She is survived by her husband Keith Wyatt; one daughter, Miranda Wyatt of Robeline, LA; two sons, Bryan Wyatt and wife Valarie of Robeline, LA and Daniel Wyatt of Robeline, LA; three grandchildren, Dustin Wyatt, Dylan Wyatt, and Destiny Wyatt; her mother, Edna Cates of Mountain Home, AR; one sister, Tina Quirk of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers, Steve Cates of Lebeau, LA and Randy Cates of Mountain Home, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Wyatt, Tanner Wyatt, Jason Wyatt, Carl Williams, Billy Newman, and Jason Ivey.
