A Mass of Christian Burial for Phillip Flores will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Spanish Lake, Louisiana with Fr. John Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana, with a rosary being held at 7:00 pm during the visitation.
Phillip Flores, 82, passed away on March 2, 2015 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Phillip was born on September 26, 1932 to Mack and Laura O’Con Flores.
Phillip was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. He loved to play the guitar, loved his music and loved to fish. Phillip was a humble man and was a friend to so many. Words can't explain just how deeply he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Flores of Spanish Lake, LA; one son, Barry Flores and his wife, Becky, of Stonewall, LA; three granddaughters, Tabetha Byles and her husband Jonathan of Spanish Lake, LA, Candi Davis and her husband, Robert, of Gloster, LA, Jenny Reynolds and her husband, Tony, of Shreveport, LA; and ten great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Hinds, Ayden, Asher, and Aubrey Byles, Cameron, Conner, and Carly Davis, Anna Beth and Tucker Reynolds.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Alan Flores; his great-grandson, Ethan Hinds; one sister, Gladys Austin; and two brothers Hilton and Herbert Moore.
Pallbearers will be Don Flores, Wayne Moore, Charlie Solice, Truly Bozeman, Buzzy Walker and Gary Niette.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tucker Reynolds, Matthew and Jacob Hinds, Ayden and Asher Byles, and Cameron and Conner Davis.
