Bennett "Danny" Daniel Pratt

Bennett Daniel "Danny" Pratt, 47 years old, passed away on January 25, 2015 in Kitzingen, Germany. A memorial service to honor his life will take place on March 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 533 Second Street, Natchitoches, LA, 71457. Mother Catherine Thompson will serve as officiant. A reception will follow in the parish hall after the service. Interment will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Keithville, LA at a later date. Danny loved to cook. He was a chef who had studied the culinary arts in Germany and was awarded for his craft. He also worked in security and was often sought after due to his steadfast work ethic. When he was back in the states for three months visiting friends and family, 2011, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with those he loved. He is survived by his parents, Bennett Ellis Pratt and Dorothy Ann Daniel Pratt; his brother, Christopher Ellis Pratt and his wife Wendi of Theodore, AL; his nieces and nephews, Krissy Ann, Kenny Ellis, Nichole Elizabeth Worsley, and Bryce Christopher; his uncles Donald Ray Pratt and his wife Hilda of Haughton, LA and Gerald Stewart of Winnfield, LA; his aunts, Kathleen Simmons of Provencal, LA and Delia Daniel of Garland, TX; he is also survived by a fiance', Eva Langer of Munich, Germany as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. A eulogy was written and will be read by Sandi Strickland at the Memorial Service. Memorials may be made in his honor to the Bennett Daniel Pratt memorial fund at Trinity Episcopal Church, 533 Second Street, Natchitoches, LA, 71457.
