Funeral services for Terry C. Boswell will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Provencal United Pentecostal Church in Provencal, LA with Rev.’s Paul Grace, Dennis Bjornberg, Cecil Boswell, Jr., and Rodney Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Provencal Cemetery in Provencal, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm on March 19, 2015 until service time Friday at Provencal United Pentecostal Church in Provencal, LA. Terry Boswell, 75 years of age, passed away March 16, 2015. He was born March 15, 1940 in Natchitoches, LA and was a lifelong resident of Provencal, LA. He was always fond of the outdoors, and never liked to be cooped up long inside. He traveled for a living, driving a diesel rig all over the country transporting goods to many states, and later made his living driving a log truck. He was full of life, very strong-willed, and always liked having a good time. He loved his family dearly, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Betsy Boswell Jordan of Robeline, LA and Lisa Leonard and husband Scott of Blairsville, GA; two sisters, Sherry Boswell Woodel and husband Garland of Provencal, LA and Debbie Gayle Boswell of Provencal, LA; two brothers, Cecil "Buddy" Boswell, Sr. and wife Janice of Provencal, LA and Tommy Eston Boswell and wife Clynell of Livingston, TX; two grandchildren, Tracy Jordan and Lee Crumpton; seven great grandchildren, Jackson Jordan, Celeste Jordan, Wesley Jordan, Maggie Jordan, Riley Choate, Zane Choate, and Jasper Choate; a special friend, Linda McClellan of Provencal, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Elvis Boswell and Emily Juanita Dale Boswell; his son-in-law, Gill Jordan; his grandson, Wesley Jordan; and his great nephew, Timmothy Kyle Woodel. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Cecil Boswell, Jr., Rodney Boswell, Jeff Woodel, Brad Woodel, Tracy Jordan, Jackson Jordan, and Wesley Boswell. Anthony Choate will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
