Mrs. Justine Lynn Jacob, 92 years of age, passed away in Houston, Texas on March 30, 2015 at her son's home. Mrs. Jacob was a Christian and has now been presented perfect to the Father through the work of the Son. She is free at last from all the trials of this life joining her husband and many others in eternal praise to the Lord. The family grieves her loss but praises God for what He has done for her and all His people. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the old Robeline Cemetery, Robeline, Louisiana. She will be buried adjacent to her husband, Wilbur. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, Louisiana. Mrs. Jacob was born and raised in Belgium. She met her husband to be during World War II while she was working as a nurse and he was serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. She immigrated to the United States a few years after the war's end. They were married in Robeline where they started a long and happy life together. Decades ago she managed the Wenk Sanatorium and the Jacob's Day Care Center in Shreveport. She lived a life of service to others. After retirement she continued to volunteer through her church and other agencies. Only a few years ago she was still volunteering as a teacher's aide in a local elementary school. Mrs. Jacob was a long time member of the Methodist Church and was active in many women's ministries of the church. She is survived by: her son Patrick Jacob, and his wife, Nu, of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Diana Jacob, of Flower Mound, Texas; Patrick's three daughters (Thuy Grimes, Chau Huffman, and Kim Guess); Diana's two sons (John-Patrick and Jacques Haba) and two daughters (Maliska Haba and Amalyia Bennett); Patrick's eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; and Diana's two grandchildren.
