Troy Wayne Lindsey

Funeral services for Troy Wayne Lindsey will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Provencal United Pentecostal Church in Provencal, LA with Rev. Paul Grace and Rev. Brad Raynes officiating. Interment will follow at Provencal Cemetery. The family will receive friends on April 10, 2015 from 5:00 pm until service time on Saturday at Provencal United Pentecostal Church. Troy, 42 years of age, passed away April 8, 2015. He was born October 7, 1972 in Natchitoches, LA. He was someone who was proud to be himself; he didn't believe in walking with the crowd. His different point of view and intelligence made him a one of a kind person. He was quick witted, and could make everyone that he came into contact with him smile. He took pride in the roots of his family and where he came from. He was a proud daddy, brother, uncle, and son. His personality was every bit as big as he was. There were many things that he loved: music, which was his escape; reading and studying his Bible, which he did regularly; discussing the Bible and religion, a favorite past time; and studying ancestry, which brought him closer to his family. Troy was a truly one of a kind person, one that you would never forget meeting, and will stay in our hearts and minds forever. He will be missed. He is survived by parents, Sanford and Donna Lindsey; his sister, Casey Rachal and her husband Steve; his daughter, Camille Madason Lindsey; the love of his life, Jessica Odom and her children, Shannon Warren, Grace Warren, and Charles Brian, Jr.; and his nephews, Hunter and Brayden Rachal. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Harley Madason Ward Lindsey; and his grandparents, Otha and Mae Vone Davis and Glenn and Ona Mae Lindsey. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Larry Lindsey Jr, Barney Roberts, Jamie Crowley, Brandon Heppner, Herman Collins Sr., Tony Ivy, Chad Edwards, and Tanner Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Yopp, Stevie Rachal, Shannon Garner, Vernon Garner, Ashanti Cole, Scott Alexander, Scott Warner, and Nathan Miller.
