A memorial service for Tonya Camilla Dye will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 1015 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday at Blanchard-St. Denis in Natchitoches, LA. Tonya Dye, 65 years of age, passed away April 14, 2015. Tonya was born April 27, 1949 in Jasper, TX. She was a loving mother and friend, and always was concerned for others more than she was for herself. She worried for the well being for her grandchildren always, because she wanted them to succeed in life. She had two Chihuahua's, "Rocky" and "Chico" who she loved dearly. She enjoyed fishing and cooking when she was able, and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her. She is survived by her children, Charles McWhorter and his wife Jenna, Wendy McWhorter and her partner Ann Lowring, Tommie Sheri Lambert, and Tammie Jo Dye and her partner, Damien; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her fiancé, Al Cadwallader; her sister, Theresa Hayes; her brother, Starley W. Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Allen Brown and Tommie B. Gibson Brown; and her sister, Shelia Quarles.
