Funeral service for Mrs. Doris Broadway will be at 10 am Monday, April 20, 2015 at Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline with Tony Moran, Junior Mitchell and Pastor Adrian Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount CMC Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 10 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, 848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Mrs. Broadway, 78 years of age, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Pearl River, LA. She was born June 1, 1936 in Robeline, LA to Charles Edward Moran and Lillie Mae (Mitchell) Moran. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Edward Moran, Jr., Douglas Moran and Clyde Moran; her first husband and the father of her children, Cleabourne Green. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sheila Guidry and her husband Cedric Guidry, Jr. of Pearl River, LA; a son, Charles “Rickey” Green and his wife Madonna Green of Westwego, LA; and a sister, Grace Bowman of Marrero, LA. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
