Funeral services for Neil Kerry will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Cemetery in Chopin, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on April 22, 2015 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Neil Kerry, 50 years of age, passed away April 20, 2015. He was born August 27, 1964 in Natchitoches, LA. He was a hard working and caring man, and dedicated 35 years of his life to working as a delivery man for L.H. Johnson Wholesale Company in Natchitoches. He had a kind heart, and was always placing the needs of others before himself. The highlight of his day was spending time with his great niece and nephew, Katelyn and Landin McDonald. He loved all of his nieces and nephews dearly. He loved to go out and eat, and his favorite place was Cane River Bar and Grill on Washington Street. He was dearly loved by his family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Gene Autry Kerry and Nancy Nell Kerry; siblings, Gerald Kerry of Fairview Alpha, LA, Nina Berry and her husband Lester K. Berry of Natchitoches, LA, and Karen Kerry of Natchitoches, LA; nieces and nephews, Justin Kerry, Kimberly McDonald and husband Justin McDonald, Stephen Berry and Jodie Kerry; great nieces and nephews, Katelyn McDonald, Landin McDonald, Cooper Kerry, and Sophia Kerry; and a host of aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Viola Bynog; and Esmay and Isabelle Kerry. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Stephen Berry, Justin Kerry, Justin McDonald, Lester Berry, Lee Allen Bynog, and Lucky Kerry. Honorary pallbearers will be Stewart Wright, Richard Johnson, and Lovick Johnson.
