Sandra Kay Carter Cook

Sandra Kay Carter Cook of Natchitoches LA, passed away in her home on April 25, 2015 at the age of 57. A service to scatter her ashes will be officiated by Rev. David William Matlock of Christian Harmony Baptist Church at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, LA on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10:00 am. Arrangements are under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Sandra was born in New Orleans, LA on December 19, 1957. She graduated from Grace King High School in Metairie, LA. She worked at Webster Parish School Board for over 20 years. She enjoyed jet skiing, fishing, and was active in her church. She is survived by her children, Steven Carter, his wife Brandi, and their children Jaxon and Presley of Savannah, GA; and Dustie Federick and her children Vance Thomas and Kayson Federick of Natchitoches, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clydie May and William Buddy Cotton; her brother DeWayne Cotton; her sister, Sharon Olivier; and her grandson, Ashton Federick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital. Matthew 11:28 – “come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”
