Michael Edwin Donald, age 62, passed away on April 20, 2015 at his home in Campti, LA. He was born on October 24, 1952 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA to Mike Sennett Donald and Betty Jean Stewart Donald.
Michael was a free spirit. He followed his heart and not the crowd. He loved to ride his motorcycle on the open road. Being able to let go and ride was one of his greatest joys. You might also find him consumed by a book. Reading was one of his passions. He lost himself in the adventures he paged through. Although a private
person he was deeply known and loved by those who called him brother, dad, son and friend. He was loyal and an extremely hard worker. Several years ago he lost his wife, Beverly Kaye Donald. When she died he seemed to have lost part of
himself. He was never the same again and couldn't wait to join her.
His hands were the means by which he made his living. Much of his career was spent in the oil and gas industry as a diesel mechanic. After that he went to work for Alliance Compressors where he spent 14 years as a night shift maintenance tech. His coworkers testify to his tireless work ethic and his dependability as an employee and a friend.
Michael is survived by his daughter, April Cosette Donald Wise; his son, Brandon Watson; his father, Mike Sennett Donald; his sister, Mary Ann Hendrix; and his two grandchildren, Trenton Skylar Downs and Aidan Elijah Watson.
