Bobbie Andress Sullivan

A graveside service for Bobbie A. Sullivan will be at 2 pm Sunday, June 7, 2015 at American Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 6 pm on Saturday, June 6th at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Bobbie A. Sullivan, age 88, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Alexandria, LA. She was born January 12, 1927 in Liberty, TX to Dennis and Vega (Mc Callister) Andress. She earned her nursing certificate when she was in her late thirties and was a LPN for many area hospitals and nursing homes. She enjoyed sewing and canning fruits and vegetables for her family and friends. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. Many times she would be their biggest fan at ball games, horse shows or any of their activities. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Tousek of Natchitoches; sisters, Ann Braden of Houston, TX and Martha Sylvest of Sulphur, LA; brother, Robert Andress of Livingston, TX. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Vega Andress; husband, Henry Sullivan; daughter, Irene Armstrong; one sister and five brothers. Her grandsons and great grandsons are honored to serve as pallbearers, they include: Theron Tousek, Jason Tousek, Timothy Tousek, Payton Harris, Joseph Malmay, and C.J. Benoit.
