A memorial service for Jimmy Kelly will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Bubba Mills officiating. The visitation will start at 4:00 pm on Sunday, before the service, and will continue until 9:00 pm, following the service, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Jimmy Kelly, 59 years of age, passed away June 12, 2015. He was born February 1, 1956 in Natchitoches, LA. Jimmy was a love-able man who had a bright smile and a story to tell. He had a larger than life personality, and was always fun to be around. He started his career in life working for the Coca-Cola company in Natchitoches until it shut down. He then went to serve his community as a Natchitoches City Police officer, but eventually wound up taking care of the family business, Kelly Fence Co., until his passing. He had many friends in life, all who had a special place in his heart. He loved to ride his Harley, and that love lead him through many highways and byways, living free, and seeing the country. It is an honor to say, "Ride on Jimmy, until we meet again, for your highway has now become Heavenly". He is survived by his son, William Kelly; two beautiful grandchildren whom he adored, Kaylee and Cullin Kelly; two sisters, Judy Daughtry and Jan Posey and her husband George; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of nieces and nephews, who called him "King Jimmy". He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bo" Kelly and Merle Cobb Keith.
