Funeral services for Mollie Clemons Bruning will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Clarence Baptist Church in Clarence, LA. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Clarence Baptist Church. Mollie Bruning, 101 years of age, passed away June 15, 2015. She was born April 26, 1914 in Pollock, LA. She is survived by her children, James Lindwood Bruning of Natchitoches, LA, Betty Bruning Thompson of Campti, LA, Beddie Bruning of Clarence, LA, and Mira Bruning Horne of Natchitoches, LA; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; and twenty-six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.T. Bruning; her parents, A.H. Clemons and Martha Boyt Clemons; four sisters; five brothers; two great grandsons; and two son-in-laws. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mike Thompson, Ricky Thompson, David Thompson, Billy Thompson, Craig Thompson, Charles Thompson, Shawn Thompson, and Aaron Bruning and James Bruning, Jr.
