Emmandeline "Mandy" Sargee

A memorial service to remember the life of Emmandeline “Mandy” Sargee of Natchitoches, La. will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday June 27, 2015 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1645 Breazeale Springs St. in Natchitoches, La. with Br. Louis Whitelow officiating. Emmandeline Moreau Sargee was born on July 5, 1963 in Oakland, California. She grew up among the redwoods in a close loving family. All through her life she had a close relationship with her mother, though deep in her heart she was always a 'Daddy's girl.' On December 24, 1977 she symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God by water baptism. Just as she started high school her family moved to Louisiana. Mandy married Gregory Sargee on July 1, 1988. She loved being a wife and was a wonderful wife to Greg. She was also a loving mother to her son Matthew to whom she gave birth on November 3, 1999. She loved to teach and spent many hours in the volunteer ministry work sharing her hope for the future with others. She worked for several years as a substitute teacher for the Natchitoches Parish School Board being called on often as she quickly became the favorite of many teachers. She did love her 'children' as she referred to them and it was common for her to donate clothes, backpacks, school supplies and even food to those children with families that were struggling to make ends meet. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, spending time with her family and friends and spoiling at least one dog at all times. Mandy was always upbeat. Even though she had to endure terrible pain at times, she did not complain and even tried to hide it from others. She always looked for ways to help others, cooking for those that were ill or giving food, clothing, etc... She had a special talent as a listener. Many have called her just to talk over troubles and concerns and Mandy had this way of making things better somehow. She had this ability to offer comfort even when she was in pain herself. She will be dearly missed. Mandy is survived by her husband of nearly 27 years Greg Sargee; her son Matthew; her parents Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Moreau Sr. of Pineville, La; her two brothers Errol Moreau Jr. and Eric Moreau both of Pineville, La.; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends that all loved her for the special person she was.
