Memorial services for Rev. Betty Sue Wester Dew, will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 7 p.m., at Anointed Faith Tabernacle with Reverend’s Cecil Boswell, Jr. and Christopher Dew officiating and at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Provencal United Pentecostal Church with Reverend's C.J. Walea and Paul Grace offciating. Interment will follow the Saturday service at Provencal Cemetary in Provencal, LA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Anointed Faith Tabernacle in Cuba, MO and again on Friday, July 3, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Provencal United Pentecostal Church in Provencal, LA.
Betty, was born on April 6, 1932, to Woodrow Wilson Wester and Opal Orsborn Wester, and passed from this life at 83 years of age on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Betty was beloved by her family and friends. She filled so many roles and held so many titles: Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, pastor, mentor, teacher, preacher, evangelist, and beloved friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Wilson Wester and Opal Orsborn Wester of Provencal; and one daughter Charoltte Denise Dew also of Provencal.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Rudolph Dew of VIchy, MO; her son Dennis Wester Dew and wife Sherry Pynes Dew of Vowell's Mill, LA; four grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Dew and wife Rachel of Vichy, MO, Dexton Wade Dew of Hagewood, LA, Alysse Jackson of Vowell's Mill, LA, and Allison Tedder and husband Joey of Longview, TX; five great grandchildren, Karsten, Kayden, and Kellen Dew of Vichy, MO, Logan and Lucas Dew of Robeline, LA, and Emory Tedder or Longview, TX; as well as numerous cousins, and friends.
Those honored to be pallbearers will be Steven Orsborn, David Orsborn, Peyton Sparks, Heath Wester, Toby Brazzel, and Carson Custis. Ray Orsborn and Mike Cox will serve as honorary pallbearers.
