John Allen Coutee, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. John Allen Coutee, Sr. will be at 11 am Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, LA with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Cloutierville. The family will receive friends from 9 am until the time of Mass on Friday the 10th at the church. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 am. Mr. Coutee, 71 years of age and a resident of Cloutierville, passed away Sunday, July 5th. He was born April 8, 1944 to Terret Coutee, Sr. and Lucille (Rachal) Coutee in Cloutierville, LA. He was a carpenter by trade and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He also enjoyed being an outdoorsman, especially duck hunting. He will be dearly missed but always remembered by his wife, Theresa Coutee; daughter, Jeannie Marie Coutee; grandchildren, Jodi Willis, Jamie Lee and Trenton Derrick Lee; god-daughters, Karen Cyiark, Tracy Coutee and Karleigh Moran; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terret “Boo-lay” Coutee and Lucille Rachal Coutee; his son, John Allen Coutee, Jr.; sister, Amanda Coutee Antee; brothers, Joseph Colin Coutee, Terret Coutee, Jr., Frank R. Coutee, Vincent Coutee, Chester Joe Coutee and Alphonse Coutee.
