He was born March 20, 1949 in New Orleans, LA. He was a 66 year old retired attorney, as well as registered nurse, who resided in Provencal, LA for the past 1 ½ years. He spent the last 26 years with his wife, Martha Brian Williams, was the stepfather of Paulette Lill & Amanda Folse, grandfather of Alivia, Aiden, Corrin, Jedidiah, Bella & Gus who was the apple of his eye. He attended high school at Archbishop Rummel High School, New Orleans, Charity School of Nursing, New Orleans, where he became an RN & Tulane University, New Orleans, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate of Law. Vernon was an avid reader & inspired others with his wealth of knowledge. He found great comfort in nurturing those he loved & enjoyed visits full of laughter with his childhood friend of 50 years, Hal Clavier. After recovering from a stroke, Vernon & his wife, Martha, decided to move to the country to be closer to family. He loved the quiet country living, & his only reservation was the distance he had to drive for the convenience of stores. There was nothing Vernon liked better than to have an interesting, intellectual conversation with a friend or the companionship of his dog, Pookie.
