Glenn Edward Magee

Funeral service for Glenn E. Magee will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Church Cemetery in Crews, LA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Glenn Edward Magee, 61 years of age, passed away August 12, 2015. Glenn was born January 20, 1954 in Yuma, AZ. Glenn was a native of Campti, La. but had been living in Natchitoches as a resident of Natchitoches Community Care for the past 3 years with his mother Yvonne Magee Bourque. Glenn was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. He had a heart of a child and a loving spirit. While he was at the Nursing Home he acquired a new family. They all loved Glenn and would say he was their "favorite ". He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him with that smile and "how you doing" greeting he gave everyone he came in contact with. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Yvonne Bourque; sisters, Janice Fuller Randow and Glenda Dockery; niece, Michelle Fuller as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Bourque; and maternal grandparents, George and Delia Magee. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Monty Williams, Douglas Feazell, Joey Creamer, Michael Williams, Ronnie Sauce and Herbert Sauce. Special thanks to all of the staff at Natchitoches Community Care for all their love and care that was given to Glenn his last year's of life. It is truly appreciated by his family and friends.
