Bill Kennedy was born January 24, 1947 in Livingston, TX. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to tell jokes, loved to laugh and loved life in general. He lived life to its fullest. He loved cars and even raced cars when he was younger. It's no surprise that working on cars as a mechanic became his career. Cars were also one of his favorite hobbies. He bought and rebuilt several antique cars over the years. He loved camping with his "camp family" for over 40 years, riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles and just enjoying the outdoors.
Bill is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 1/2 years, Betty Watson Kennedy; daughters Michelle Kennedy of Atlanta, LA, Kristine Walker and her husband Brent of Natchitoches, LA, and Karen Cunningham and her husband Craig of Frisco, TX; grandchildren, Cole Roberts, Crystal Roberts, Garrett Roberts, Jesse Roberts, Dillon Walker, Chad Walker, Avery Cunningham and Kyle Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews. He would have welcomed his first great-grandchild this week.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth W. and Mary Ethel Kennedy, and his brother, Kenneth (Ken) Kennedy.
Pallbearers are Brent Walker, Craig Cunningham, Greg Roberts, Cole Roberts, Jesse Roberts, Garrett Roberts, Dillon Walker, Chad Walker, Kyle Cunningham, Bob Watson, Bill Watson, Adrian Handley, Jerry Roberts, David Rushing, Jim Whitten, Benny O'Brien, Bob Benson, Gene Mariano and Chuck Cook.
