Larry Coody

A memorial service to honor the life of Larry Coody will be at 10 am Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of service on Saturday the 22nd. Larry, 67 years of age and a life-long resident of Natchitoches Parish, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Natchitoches. Larry was born on July 14, 1948 in Alexandria, LA. Larry retired as a vocational agricultural teacher after 33 years of service. He loved for others to learn and was always excited when he could encourage his students to further their lives with higher education. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Debra Coody; and sons, Richie Coutee, Scotty Coutee, Dennis Coody, Greg Coody and L.E. Coody. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence (L.E.) Coody and Reba Webre; a step-father who raised him as his own with the passing of his biological father at such an early age, Thomas Webre; and a sister, Carolyn A. Coody.
