A Mass of Christian Burial for Kittie Vercher will be 2:30 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Chapel in the Trichel Community with Fr. Louis Sklar officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday the 29th at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Mrs. Vercher, 75 years of age and a resident of Clarence, LA, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was born April 8, 1940 in Haynesville, LA to Jessie Tolliver DeLoach and Mary Lydia (Boyce) DeLoach. She was a devout catholic and regularly attended St. Joseph Chapel in the Trichel Community. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She deeply loved all of her family. Nothing made her happier than a house full of children. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Tolliver DeLoach and Mary Lydia Boyce DeLoach; her siblings, Eulas DeLoach, Steve DeLoach, Lee DeLoach, James DeLoach and Louise Wallett. She is survived by her husband, John H. Vercher; her children, Keith Vercher and his fiancé Kristi Fontenot Susan Hennigan and her husband Al , Rebecca Vercher, and Frances Ezernack and her husband Keven; her grandchildren, Nathan Vercher, John William Vercher, Lillian Dixon, Lynthus Hennigan, Lanze Ezernack, and Lukas Ezernack; one great grandchild, Violet Dixon; her siblings, Martha Savell, Mary Nell Cox, Kathleen Pittman, Gene DeLoach, Betty Hasty, Rosie McClung, Ruth Williams and Derryl Lewis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
