Emilie Elise Boring

Funeral service for Emilie Elise Boring will be at 2 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Putnam officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairview Alpha, LA. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service on Wednesday the 7th at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Emilie Boring, 93 years of age, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born June 19, 1922 to William Busch and Elizabeth Neidhofer Busch in Bendorf, Germany. She retired after many years of service as a billing clerk for Magnaflux ITW. A music lover and especially singing, she was a member of Sweet Adeline International. Emilie was a long-time and active member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Franklin Park, IL before moving to Louisiana to be closer to her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Renee, Fred, and Christine; son-in-law, Charles; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Justin, Christopher, Richard, Kimberly, Nicole, Candace, Lucy, Jason and Fred; adopted grandchildren, David and Justin Barrows; as well as 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth (Neidhofer) Busch; sons, Chuck, Scott and an infant son, Duane; and a grandson, Jeffery. The family would like to Dr. Otis Barnum and the Courtyard of Natchitoches for all of their care and support for Mrs. Emilie.
