Thomas Scroggins

A service to celebrate the life of Thomas Howard Scroggins will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Faith Family Church in Natchitoches, LA with Dustin Boudreaux and Steve Ciaccio officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Thomas Scroggins, 44 years of age, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 9, 1971 in Natchitoches to Billy Ray Scroggins and Patricia (Gray) Scroggins. Thomas will always be remembered as a great husband, father and grandfather. He had a great personality and would “light up” any room he entered. His favorite indulgence was eating “fun buns”, a huge cinnamon roll. The bravery he exhibited during such a difficult time was a testament to the kind of person Thomas was and for that he will never be forgotten by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Heather Feduccia Scroggins; his parents, Billy Ray and Patricia Scroggins; sons, Trey Trahan and his wife Megan, Jordan Trahan, Christian Trahan and Gavon Scroggins; granddaughter, Symii Gayle Trahan; sister, Jill Strickland; and close family members who provided so much support, Janelle and Mike McCullough, Beth and Bruce Roach and Ben McCullough; as well as numerous uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by a sister Elise Janice. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Trey Fulton, Tracey Lonadier, Tim Milam, Trey Trahan, Dustin Boudreaux, and Jody Matte.
