Graveside services for Louise Patterson Wright will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Richard Kaufman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Louise Wright, 88 years of age, passed away November 21, 2015. She was born March 6, 1927 near Farmerville, LA, in Union Parish, to the late John Randolph and Josie Taylor Patterson. After graduating high school, she attended NSU where she was a member of Alpha Sigma sorority. She loved to sew, dress dolls, and tend to her flowers. She was known as Grammy to her family, and was devoted entirely to her family and five granddaughters. She is survived by her sons, Ralph Stanford Wright, Robert Stuart Wright and wife Aimee, and John David Wright and wife Kim; five granddaughters, Lindsey Wright Parten and Jared, Kelly Wright Lambard and Luke, Brittany Wright Goswami and Vivek, Taylor Wright, and Lesley Wright; seven great grandchildren, Amelie, Knox, Rowan, Georgia, Holden, Amara, and Menka. She is also survived by her sister, Lula Patterson Hague; and her brothers, Thomas Keith Patterson and Richard Warren Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Wright; her parents, John R. and Josie Taylor Patterson; six brothers, Royce Lee, Dan, Arnold Gray, Alex, John Randolph "Buck", and Eugene Patterson; and one sister, Lillian Upshaw.
