Funeral services for Jane Fraser Bradley will be held 11AM Friday, March 13, 2009 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Avery and Rev. Jacqueline King officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 5 PM until 8 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home and on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 10 AM until service time in the church. Additional service will be held 2 PM Monday, March 16, 2009 in Jernigan Methodist Church with Rev. Jesse Shackelford officiating with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley, 75, of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La.
She was a native of Atlanta, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick Carl Bradley; her parents, William Erskine Fraser and Emily Jane Wimpy Fraser; two brothers, William Erskine Fraser and Young Harris Fraser.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John B. Bradley of Natchitoches, La.; three daughters, Dr. Jayni Bradley of Watkinsville, Ga., Faye Smyth of Bradenton, Fl., and Julea Hovey of Aiken, S. C.; one son, John B. Bradley, Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Bryan Bradley, Mary Catherine Bradley, Bradley Thomas, James Thomas, Emily Thomas, Preston Smyth, Peyton Smyth, and Cullen Hovey.
Pallbearers will be Nettles Brown, Tommy Covington, David Poston, Dan Poole, Sonny Evans, and Larry Kirkland.
Ushers will be Jim Reichel and Jackie Bryant.
