Lanora McCallister Welch Jennings

Lanora Estelle McCallister Dungan Welch Jennings, everyone’s sister, Mother, or friend; passed on January 19, 2016. She surrendered her home on Earth to join her parents Ina Mae Stevens McCallister and John Calvin McCallister, her sons Coleman Guy Welch and Robert Roy Welch, 8 sisters, 2 brothers and countless others in their home in Heaven. She leaves her husband, Junior (James) Jennings of Natchitoches, LA; daughters, Netta Yvonne Burke of Natchitoches, LA, Ettie Sue Knueppel and spouse Gary Knueppel of Natchitoches, LA, Debra Gayle Thompson and spouse Joseph C. Thompson of Provencal, LA; sons, Benny Roy Welch of Marthaville, LA, and Herbert Bruce Welch of Natchitoches, LA; step-sons, Danny Jennings of Freeport TX, Roy Jennings of Sulphur, LA, Billy Jennings of Clarence, LA, Joe Jennings of Blanchard, LA, and Bobby Jennings of Natchitoches, LA; and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived a long life of service to God and had a giving heart, giving shelter and help to anyone who asked or needed. We give thanks to all of the medical care professionals who helped in her care. Flowers should be sent to the Coldwater Baptist Church. The visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm Friday January 22nd at Coldwater Baptist Church. Services are on Saturday, January 23rd at 10:00 am, at Coldwater Baptist Church. Interment is at the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
