Reilly Cade Runnels

A service to honor the life of Reilly Cade Runnels will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Matthew Pagels officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:00 am until 10 am on Saturday the 6th in the funeral home chapel. Reilly, 18 years of age and a resident of Campti, LA, formerly of Pearland, TX, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. He was born July 25, 1997 in Greenville, TX to Marvin Runnels and Vali Swindle Bishop. He graduated from Dawson High School in Pearland, TX, but had previously attended Lakeview High School as a freshman and participated in JROTC. He was attending classes at Bossier Parish Community College. In keeping with Reilly’s loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate the gift of life through organ donation. He is survived by his mother, Vali Bishop; father, Marvin Runnels and his wife April; siblings, Dillon Crawford, Nicholas Runnels and his wife Lindsay, Amber Stanley, Trey Stanley and Alyssa Breaud; grandparents, Pat and Jack Ferguson, Robert and Chau Swindle, and Gloria Runnels; nephew, Caden Runnels; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Runnels. In lieu of floral contributions, donations may be made in Reilly’s name to Lakeview High School JROTC Program or to Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency at www.lopa.org
