Funeral services for Roger Lee "Pete" Welch will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Chuck LaCroux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on February 29, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Roger Welch, 60 years of age, passed away February 26, 2016. He was born September 18, 1955 in Natchitoches, LA. He is survived by his wife, Trudy Welch of Natchitoches, LA; his brothers, John and wife Emily, Joe and wife Betty, Archie and wife Kathy, and Bobby and wife Marie, all of St. Maurice, LA; his sisters, Olla Gibbs and husband Dwight and Denise Hale and husband Larry of Montgomery, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mae Welch; his brother, Ernest Welch; and sister, Sherry Gibbs.
