Gladys Helen Brueckner

Mrs. Gladys Helen Brueckner was met by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 24, 2016. She was reunited in heaven with family and friends that had gone on before her. Helen, 81 years of age and a native of Boonville, MS, was a hardworking and dedicated mother to her children. Their needs were always top priority in her life. She worked many years as a nursing assistant at Bossier Medical Center. Her caring and compassionate spirit will be missed by all who knew her, especially her friends she made while residing at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Natchitoches. Solving puzzles was one of her fondest hobbies as well as visiting with family and friends. She will always have a special place in the heart of those that loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Brueckner of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Deborah Sawyer and her husband, Stephen of Waco, TX. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kevin Brueckner of Bossier City, Josh Sawyer and his wife Amber of Beuamont, TX and Amanda Poland of Waco; as well as four great grandchildren, Jordan Brueckner, Britney Sawyer, Jayden Sawyer and Bryton Sawyer. A service to honor her life will be held at a later date in Boonville, MS.
