Russell Wade Phillips

Funeral service for Russell Wade Phillips will be at 11 am Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Provencal with Pastor Bill Hudson officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Bellwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home and again on the day of the service from 9 am until service time at the First Baptist Church of Provencal located at 123 Maple Street, Provencal, LA 71468. Russell, 64 years of age, passed away March 17, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born June 29, 1951. He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and brother and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Samang Phillips; son, Aaron Phillips and his wife Cindy; daughters, Stacy Rhodes and her husband Coby and Keri Christensen and her husband James; mother, Eva Mavis Norsworthy Phillips; sisters, Denice Mayeux and Donna Razo and her husband Mike; and a brother, Ricky Phillips and his wife Anne. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen J. Phillips Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Aaron Phillips, Coby Rhodes, James Christiansen, and Mike Razo.
