Rusty Williams

Funeral service for Walter P. “Rusty” Williams will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Little Hope Cemetery near Castor, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on Tuesday the 29th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Rusty, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Natchitoches. He was born August 2, 1952 in Pineville, LA to Phillip Clyde Williams and Rosa Lee (Woods) Williams. Even though Rusty reached the age of 63, he was a child at heart and will forever be young in the eyes of his family and friends. He had a sweet and charming personality and was deeply loved by his family and friends. Rusty loved his savior, Jesus Christ, and was in regular attendance at Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church of Natchitoches. He loved music and enjoyed the praise and worship service at his church. His favorite times in life were when his family gathered for Holidays, he truly enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed but fondly remembered as a loving brother and uncle. He is survived by his sisters, LaNell Pleasant, Marie Bissonnette, and Lucy Williams; a brother, J. W. Plunkett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Rusty by the staff at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation and the staff of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Your compassion made a difficult time easier to endure.
