A service to honor the life of Margie Fitzgerald will be at 1 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on Tuesday the 12th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Margie Fitzgerald, 90 years of age, passed away April 10, 2016 in Pineville, LA with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Onie Lope; husband, Otto Fitzgerald; stepson, Harold Fitzgerald and a granddaughter, Sarah Hickman. She is survived by her sister, Madonna Rachal; her daughters, Sherry Freeman (Ricky), Connie Lasyone (Olen), Peggy Hickman and Debbie Fitzgerald; 6 grandchildren, Erica (Laramie), Jessica, Tracy (Doug), Ross (Katie), Carrie (Eddie) and Christopher (Tammy); 10 great grandchildren, Katline, Kaleb, Maddy, Gage, Olivia, Reid, Morgan, Fitz, Zoe, and Sadie; 2 great-great grandchildren, Conner and Makenzie; and a step daughter-in-law, Madeline Fitzgerald. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Ross Freeman, Ricky Freeman, Olen Lasyone, Kaleb Alsup, Reid Dubois, and Chris Hickman. The family would like to thank Guardian Hospice for the care and compassion given at such a difficult time.
