Funeral services for Hattie Mae Hall will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev.’s Tommy Bridges and Ray Dyess officiating. Interment will follow at Lambertown Cemetery in Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on May 28, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.
Hattie Hall, 81 years of age, passed away May 27, 2016. She was born April 26, 1935 in Shreveport, LA. Hattie was a kind and loving person; a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother; and a great cook. She always had a meal prepared for her guests, whether they were family or friends, and she was known for her talent in making biscuits and cornbread. She married and stayed true to the love of her life for 64 years, and left a wonderful legacy for her children to follow. Hattie enjoyed the simple things in life, such as working in her yard, toiling with flowers, or just simply spending time with her family. She had a strong and devoted faith to her God, and was overall a happy person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, R. C. Hall of Robeline, LA; two sons, Randy Hall and wife Betty of Robeline, LA and Danny Hall and wife Pat of Marthaville, LA; two daughters, Cathy Humphries of Bossier City, LA and Neice Masterson and husband Joe of Bossier City, LA; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton J Berry and Mattie Broadway Berry; two sisters, Mildred Stoker and Ethel Freeman; and three brothers, Limuel Berry, Charles Berry, and Harvey Berry.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Cliff Hall, Shawn Hall, Phillip Dowden, Wesley Dowden, Lucas Dowden, and Eric Bridges.
