Funeral services for Walter Franklin Wallace will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. T.J. Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on June 16, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA. Walter Wallace, 53 years of age, passed away June 14, 2016. He was born March 4, 1963 in Eunice, LA. Known as "Wally" to some and "Frank" to others, he was known to love writing and composing poetry, enjoyed trivia, and had a strong affection for all of his dogs that he raised over the years. He was a loyal person who was always close to his family's heart. He loved his mother dearly and did all that he could to care for her. He was a unique, caring, and kind individual, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Rounsavall Wallace of Natchitoches, LA; his sisters, Paula Ammons and her husband Jimmy and Elizabeth Wallace and her husband Bruce Singleton; his nieces, Jaime Rhymes and husband David, Jessica Hurd and husband Mike, Jamie Grimes and husband Scott, Caroline Singleton, and Emily Singleton; his great nephews, Ian Hurd and Ayden Hurd; his great nieces, Molly Rhymes and Emma Rhymes; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Wallace, Sr.; his brother, R. Paul Wallace, Jr.; his sister, Rebecca Suzanne Wallace; his grandparents, Martin Seba and Lucille Wallace and Walter Franklin and Carrie Rounsavall; and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jimmy Ammons, Scott Grimes, Bruce Singleton, Mike Hurd, and Bennie Arthur.
