Funeral services for Teegan Rae Stewart will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on June 27, 2016 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Teegan, 2 years of age, was born May 20, 2014 and passed away unexpectedly June 23, 2016. She was deeply loved and cherished by her family. She gave a smile that would melt any heart and loved unconditionally. She was truly a gift from God and will forever remain in our hearts. She is survived by her parents, Courtney Carpenter Brian and Steven Taylor Stewart; her sister, Madison Brian; her paternal grandparents, Johnny and Lori Stewart; her maternal grandparents, Greg Carpenter and wife Mary Lou and Felicia Thon and husband Mike; her great grandparents, Faye McLeod and Raymond and Rita Carpenter; her uncles, Brock Carpenter and wife Kristin, Christopher Stewart, and Brad Calvert; and one special "Uncle", Matt Flack and wife Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Melborn Printis McLeod, Margie Aldy Stewart, Lavelle Stewart, Anita Lemoine Mitchell, and Irving Mitchell. The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Diego Aviles and the wonderful staff of Children's Hospital of New Orleans for their love and support.
