Connie (Rhodes) Rachal

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Connie Rhodes Rachal will be at 10 am Thursday, June 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Provencal with Bro. Bruce Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at First Baptist of Provencal. Connie, age 74 and a resident of Flora, La, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She was born August 17, 1941 to Curtis and Hattie Kay Rhodes in Provencal, LA. She was a graduate of Provencal High. Her greatest love in life was caring for her family; she adored her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A member of First Baptist of Provencal, she enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, 3 daughters, Donna Wink and husband Shane of West Monroe, Kimberlee Vancena and husband Lance of West Monroe, and Kaylee Conlay and husband Creston of Flora; a brother, Jared Rhodes and wife Dian of Ft. Myers, FL. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Megan Auttonberry, Kristen Barrelle and husband Andy, Jaycee Wink, Madeline Vancena, Lydia Vancena, Gracie Conlay and Dylan Conlay; as well as 3 great grandchildren, Lillian Auttonberry, Carson Auttonberry, and Keegan Barrelle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Rachal; her parents; and brothers, Randall Rhodes and Larry Rhodes. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Chris Kay, David Kay, Carroll Poche, Shane O’Bannon, Darrell Armstrong and Lance Vancena. Shane Wink and Creston Conlay will be honorary pallbearers. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at The Rosemont Assisted Living Community and LHC Hospice for the care given to Connie during such a difficult time.
