Alice (Jeannie) Geneva Antee

Funeral services for Alice Geneva Antee will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church in Montgomery, LA with Rev. Donald Givens officiating. Interment will follow at Montgomery Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on July 2, 2016 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church. Jeannie Antee, 70 years of age, passed away June 27, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease at Colfax Nursing Home, while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 1, 1945 Fairview Alpha, LA to the late Joseph Adams and Louise Boyd Adams. She loved her family and friends, and most of all, she loved her church. She will be missed by many, but her memory will remain. She will always be remembered for being a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She is survived by her children, Denice Givens and husband Bobby of Montgomery, LA, Wanda McKee and husband Dennis of Shreveport, LA, Tony Perez and wife Sylvia of Indiana, Richard Antee of Montgomery, LA, and Barry Antee of Shreveport, LA; three step-children, Wendy, Terry, and Tane Antee; many grand and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Faye Lisi and her two sons, Craig Girouard and Charles Everett, and Shirley Ford and her son, Wade Green, both of Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of twenty-four years, Dalton Terry Antee; her daughter, Kimly Kopf Waterhouse; and her parents, Joseph Adams and Louise Earnestine Boyd Adams. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wade Green, Dennis McKee, Beau Spivey, Charles Everett, Jimmy Givens, and Donnie Gunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Thomisee and Craig Girouard.
