Funeral services for Mrs. Darlene Keeth will be at 10 am Friday, July 8, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home chapel with Rev. David Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. She passed from this life and promoted to glory on Tuesday, July 05, 2016, in Alexandria, LA, surrounded by her family. Darlene was born in Dallas TX, but spent her childhood growing up in Berryville AR. She was a very special person: a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived in Natchitoches, LA for her entire adult life, making her family’s home here. She was a homemaker and beloved teacher at Jack in the Box Daycare in Natchitoches for many years, and longtime member of Oasis of Love Church in Natchitoches. She was a member of VFW post 1962 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 10 Auxiliary in Natchitoches as well. Darlene was the most selfless, loving, caring person anyone could ever meet. She loved her family and friends; they were her entire world. She will be greatly missed. She was survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, Lester Keeth of Natchitoches LA; her mother, Gladys McCary of Bossier City LA; her sons, Denny Keeth of Benton LA and Donny Keeth and wife Dana of Natchitoches LA; her sisters, Dian Sandefur and husband Sandy of Bossier City LA, Deborah Tibbs and husband Glen of Haughton LA, and Doreen Johnson of Pachuta, MS; her granddaughter, Heaven (daughter of Donny and Dana) of Natchitoches LA; one niece, Lydia Sheppard and husband Jason of Bossier City, LA; nephews, John Michael Morrow and wife Sharon of Bossier City LA, Joshua Tibbs and husband Jason Hartz of Geneva IL, Jared Tibbs of Haughton LA; great nieces, Ariel, Alayna, Isabella, and Sarah Emily; one great nephew, Brennan; and two sisters-in-law, Marie Nelson and husband Wayne of Natchitoches LA and Barbara Ann Mcalister and husband Tommy of Bossier City LA. She is also survived by numerous extended family as well. She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Leroy Woods. Those honored to be pallbearers will be Mark Lester, Jansen Boyd, Chance Evans, Jason Sheppard, Glen Tibbs, and Jason Hartz.
