James Alton "Jimmy" Lambre, Jr.

A Catholic Vigil service for Mr. James Alton “Jimmy” Lambre, Jr. will be at 10 am Monday, August 8, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Father John Cunningham serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Visitation will be from 9 am until service time on August 8th in the funeral home chapel. Jimmy Lambre, Jr., 80 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 in Natchitoches. He was born November 21, 1935 to James Alton Lambre, Sr. and Mary Lee Duncan Lambre in Natchitoches Parish. A long-time cattle rancher and cotton farmer in Bermuda, LA, Jimmy was a hardworking and successful man. He has been a resident of the Courtyard of Natchitoches for many years and the family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff for their care and compassion during his later years in life. He is survived by his children, Amy Lambre of Houston, TX, Jennifer Watson of Houston, TX, Lorie Warren of Houston, TX, Gaylee Prindle of Dallas, TX and James Alton Lambre, III of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Kayla Watson, Ashley Watson, Dylan Watson and Kate Prindle; and a sister, Anne Lambre Gilmer of Natchitoches.
