Maurice Beebe Martin

A service to celebrate the life of Maurice Beebe Martin will be at 10 am Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches with Rev. Doug deGraffenreid officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Monday, August 8, 2016 at First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches Crossroads Sanctuary located at 411 2nd Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Beebe Martin, 51 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away due to unexpected complications with pneumonia on Thursday, August 4, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1965 in Shreveport, LA to Ronald Coleman Martin and Sue Miller Martin. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Kim Parker Martin; daughter, Abbey Elizabeth Martin; sister, Emmella Martin Walker and her husband Mark; siblings, Coleman Miller Martin, Tommy G. Martin, Chris Martin and Karen Killian; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Sue Martin; a son, Jacob Wade Martin, and a very dear grandmother, Emma Greene Miller. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Clay Chadick, Lane Fontenot, Jeff Olliver, Karlton Methvin, Chase Walker, Hunter Bedgood and Jamie Metoyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Methvin, Kenny Durr, Larry Vead, Kevin Fontenot and Luke Lucky.
