Natchitoches, LA - Carol Sue Clark (Mott) a long time resident of Natchitoches, LA passed away at Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital in Shreveport, LA, Sunday August 07, 2016. Carol was born on May 23, 1951 in Natchitoches. Carol graduated from Provencal High School in 1969 and Delta School of Commerce in 1972. She worked briefly at Exchange Bank and Northwestern State University before she married Fulton V. Clark, Jr on Feb 21, 1976. She was an avid cook and decorator. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Cleo Spangler. She is survived by her husband Fulton and daughter Corine. Family and friends may visit Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches, LA. A recitation of the rosary by Rev. Bryan Siler will be held at 7 PM following visitation . A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches, LA with Fr. Blake Deshautelle serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Randy Clark, Rex Clark, Mike Hall, Lester LaCaze, Don Mims, and Keith Ducote. The honorary pallbearer is Don Warrick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
