Memorial service for Ms. Reeta Gayle Tullos will be held 10 AM Saturday, June 27, 2009 in First Baptist Church Schultz Chapel with Rev. Charles French amd Rev. Tommy Rush officiating. Burial will be at 9 AM in Memory Lawn Cemetery, prior to the memorial service with Rev. Perry F. Webb officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6 PM until 8 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Ms. Tullos, 73, of Carthage, Tx. died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport in Shreveport, La. She was a native of Chatham, La. She was a retired physical therapist and loved caring for her patients and maintained relationships with them after retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Carthage, Texas. She enjoyed wood carving, traveling, bird watching, nature in general, and her three Boston Terriers. Ms. Tullos was very patriotic and loved her country and was a veteran of The U. S. Army WAC. She was preceded in death by her parents Basken A. Tullos, Sr. and Annie Roberts Tullos; brother, B. A. Tullos, Jr. She is survived by one sister, Dot Robertson and husband Dub of Natchitoches, La.; two nephews, Bill Robertson and wife Ann of Austin, Tx. and Danny Robertson and wife Ruth of Natchitoches, La.; one niece, Donna Gayle Worley and husband Jay of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl.; eleven great-nieces and nephews; eight great-great-nieces and nephews; special friend and business partner, Ruth Reed of Carthage, Tx.; host of other relatives and friends.
