Funeral services for Mr. Robert Rachal will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 09, 2016 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Fr. John Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow the services at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 08, 2016, at Blanchard-St Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA Mr. Robert Rachal, 91, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away September 06, 2016, in Natchitoches, LA. He was born March 10, 1925 in Marco, LA. Robert was a patriot to the core, serving his country and retiring after 21 years as a Staff Sergeant from the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam war's. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lavane Lodrigue Rachal of Natchitoches, LA; his children, Kevin Rachal of Natchitoches, LA, Ronald Rachal of Pineville, LA, Rodney Rachal of Pineville, LA, and Jill Holmon of Fairview Alpha, LA; and his granddaughter, Emily Holman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felicia and Isadora Rachal; and his sister, Mildred Prothro.
