Funeral service for Roger Lee Badgley will be held 11 AM Friday, July 3, 2009 in Blanchard St., Denis Chapel with Rev. Earl Hartsell and Rev. Stanley Clemons officiating. Burial will be Ramah Cemetery at Ashland, La. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2. 2009 from 5 PM until 9 Pm and on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 8 Am until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Badgley,90, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Bienville, La. He was retired from Offshore Logistics and formerly worked for Dow Chemical Co. in Freeport, Tx. He was a member of Ringgold Church Of Christ. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Air Force where he received six battle stars. He was preceded in death by Albert T. Badgley and Lillie Driskill Badgley; two sisters, Estelle Bumgardner and Iris Wooley, two brothers, Herman Badgley and Travis Badgley. He is survived by four daughters, Gail Dennis, Arlene Shockley, and Brenda Graham all of Natchitoches, La., Jill Leonard and husband Kirk of Little Rock, Ar.; one son, Ronald Badgley and wife Vera of Dubach, La.; twelve grandchildren, Caitlyn Badgley, Ben Dennis, Jeff Dennis and wife Christine, Katie Patterson, Christina Durbin and husband Mitchell, Richard Graham and wife Amy, Jennifer Graham, Alexis Graham, Gabriel Sullivan, Lindsay Brocato, Matthew Leonard, and Dylan Leonard; thirteen great-grandchildren.
