A service to celebrate the home going of Lecia Ann Mitchell will be at 1 pm Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Robeline, LA with Rev. Jody Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Belmont Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on Saturday the 5th at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle located at 9086 Texas St., Robeline, LA 71469.
Lecia Ann Mitchell, 54 years of age and a resident of Robeline, passed away October 30, 2016. She was born November 27, 1961, in Many, LA to George Masters and Roberta Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, James Mitchell as well as her grandfather, Louis Mitchell.
She was a loving wife,mother,and grandmother. To her grandbabies, she was known as Honey. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than time spent playing with them. She loved Jesus and was a giving compassionate person. She was a sweet forgiving woman who would help out in any way she could, She was a true friend. She loved to work in her yard. Whether she was just cleaning up or working in her pea patch she was happiest outdoors. She was known for her muscadine jelly also. She was a good woman and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Stoker; children, Courtney Freeman and her husband Anthony, Eric Stoker and his girlfriend Libby, and Seth Stoker and his wife Kandas; and her father, George Masters. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Bayli Stoker, Ella Freeman, Anthony “AJ” Freeman and Annistyn Stoker.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Eric Stoker, Seth Stoker, Mike Matthews, Mikey Matthews, Justin Matthews, and Benny Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Rachal and Max Stoker.
