Lynn was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana on November 12, 1930, and passed on November 3, 2016, in Springtown, Texas, nine days shy of her 86th birthday, from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.E. and Jewel Hicks, her first husband Henry Ford (Peabuck) Boyt, her husband Donald Paul Driscoll, and all of her loving pets who were waiting to greet her in Heaven.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Lynn Boyt Harrison (Gene), Susan Boyt Bamberg, her grandchildren Frank (Tina) Harrison, Burt (Anna Mary) Harrison, Brant (Krissy) Bamberg, nine great grandchildren, Anne Burt, Amelia and Jay Harrison, Anna Cale and Ayden Rain Harrison, Sierra and Mesa Jo Meadows, Tate Bamberg and Kash Bamberg.
Her siblings, Nell Hicks Bowie of Memphis, Tennessee, Bill Hicks(Yvonne) of Natchitoches and Peggy Hicks Carson of Peachtree City, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service at the Beulah Methodist Church Cemetery. Following the service the family will have a celebration of Lynn’s life in the church and would love for everyone to come in and rejoice with us in her homecoming to Heaven.
We are requesting in her memory memorial donations be made in her name to, The Alzheimer’s Association or Natchitoches Humane Society.
